100% pure metal! The three italians, Sergio Sementi, Victor Caprese and Bario Meduzzo from Foggia/Italy formed MetallBrustWarzen in 1980 - as a tribute to the german Neue Deutsche Welle Band - "Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft". Influenced by DAF's machine like electronic music style, they created their own rough sound without any computer - just made by drums and guitar.
MetallBrustWarzen became well known in Europe as pioneers of live performance voice modulation. For this, they engineered their own portable octaver using an old amplifier and some beer can leftovers.
After a heavy motocycle accident in 1983 Sementi decided to convert to Hinduism and went to India. Bario Meduzzo's solo carrer failed due the production of the first album.
