Bruno Orbit, former member of the famous duo Fred vom Jupiter started TurboFlip in 1979 after an one year trip to india.
Orbit's major musical influence were the unpublished Warsaw tapes (later Joy Division) he accidentaly found in his house trash can - which he liked to play at double speed.
Using theses unique playbacks, he wrote his remarkable lyrics to perform them in shabby London pubs for almost ten years without success.
Beeing broke in 1992, after his latest tour around Europe, Orbit decided to send some of his live footage to some record companies, which refused.
Finally in 1994 - Turboflip placed on position 86 in Englands Pop Charts with "Desintegrated". Nevertheless, the record was no commercial success, so Orbit decided to quit the music buisness to "become a proper salesman".
